I am pleased to announce that Home Instead has joined the End-of-Life Network as our lead network sponsor.
Why Home Instead?
Home Instead Chichester and Bognor Regis has an exceptional track record, maintaining an overall Outstanding CQC rating for the past eight years. In their most recent inspection, they achieved Outstanding in four out of five categories – a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence in care.

In November 2024, Home Instead achieved CQC registration for the regulated activity of Treatment of Disease, Disorder and Injury (TDDI) – effectively recognising them as a nursing care provider and enabling them to deliver more complex support, including delegated healthcare tasks, alongside their Outstanding-rated home care.
What really sets Home Instead apart is their person-centred approach. Their Care Professionals spend a minimum of one hour with each client, allowing time for meaningful conversations, building trust, and supporting families, carers, and loved ones in a holistic way.
They are also deeply committed to ongoing learning, regularly upskilling their Care Professionals to deliver the highest standards of care. I’m especially excited to be collaborating with them on their End-of-Life training programme, ensuring even greater support for those who need it most.
On a personal note, I have worked with Home Instead as a Care Professional since July 2024 and have witnessed first-hand the incredible difference their care and compassion make to clients and their families at the end of life.
Simon Mcgee, owner of Home Instead franchises in Chichester and Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Steyning, says of the partnership: “We’re honoured to be the lead sponsor of the End-of-Life Network in West Sussex. Our commitment has always been to provide care that is not only safe and effective, but also deeply compassionate and person-centred. Achieving nursing accreditation last year was an important milestone for us, allowing our teams to support people with even more complex needs at home. Partnering with the Network is a natural extension of that journey – together we can help ensure families receive the very best support at the most important time of life.”
This marks an exciting step forward in enhancing Community end-of-life care across West Sussex. With Home Instead’s proven expertise and passion for person-centred support, and our shared commitment to helping families, carers and loved ones feel heard and cared for, we look forward to making a meaningful and lasting difference together.
