Introducing End of Life Friends: A Workshop for Better Understanding and Support

We often use phrases like moving on, passing away, or lost to talk about death—yet many of us still find the topic difficult to face. Whether it’s fear of saying the wrong thing or simply not knowing what to expect, conversations around death and dying can feel overwhelming.

End of Life Friends is a gentle, one-hour interactive workshop designed to increase understanding of what happens at the end of life and to help you feel more confident supporting someone during this time. Together, we’ll explore practical ways to be present, offer support, and approach death with compassion and clarity.

The workshop is open to anyone and can be delivered either online or face-to-face. Created by Bev Downie, End of Life Doula, and sponsored by Home Instead Chichester and Bognor Regis, this session is an opportunity to become a more informed and compassionate presence for those at the end of life.
